Elle is a multidisciplinary artist and photographer whose work explores a wide spectrum of subject matter through shifting styles and forms. They graduated from Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography, Video, and Film. Balancing the visually alluring with the intellectually challenging, their practice moves fluidly between the ethereal and the absurd, often inviting viewers to pause, question, and feel all at once.
Elle is also a graphic designer and content creator, bringing the same intentionality and artistic curiosity to their digital work as they do to their photography. Whether designing for print or crafting visual narratives for social media, Elle approaches each project with a thoughtful balance of aesthetic sensitivity and conceptual depth. This cross-disciplinary mindset allows Elle to seamlessly merge analog charm with digital precision, resulting in content that feels both timeless and fresh.
There’s a certain magic in slowing down and pausing before pressing the shutter, knowing that each frame is a small act of intention. Film asks for patience; it asks you to trust your eye, your timing, and to embrace a touch of unpredictability. In a world built on instant gratification, Elle finds comfort in the waiting — in the wondering and anticipation. It’s what rekindled their love for photography: the reminder that it’s not just about capturing what you see, but about preserving how it felt to be there.
Ask them to show you some sample photos of their special effects films! Each one showcases the unique character and artistry that make film photography so unforgettable.
