Rockland Photography Club
Membership in the Rockland Photography Club is open to all photography enthusiasts, from novices to professional photographers. Club members participate in field trips and meetings. Meetings feature diversified programs, talks by experts, workshops, model shoots, critiques and monthly competitions. Our meetings are usually held on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 7:00 pm in the Clarkstown Community Center in New City, located at 31 Zukor Road, New City, NY 10956-4301. Come and visit us - guests are always welcome.
Piermont Photography Group
We are an active group of photographers, varied in our enthusiasms but united by our love of the medium. At our regular, informal meetings we explore many aspects of photography, showing and discussing our work, learning and gaining insight from others' perspectives. As a club, we have fun improving our skills through group shoots and photo expeditions, workshops and clinics, and through the sharing of ideas and resources. We encourage all mediums of photography: film, digital, pinhole, point-and-shoot, even camera phones. We also encourage all artistic points of view, all expression.
We meet at 7:00 PM on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at The Clarksville Inn, 1 Strawtown Road, West Nyack, New York. All are welcome. (These are not "dinner meetings", but food and drink are available for those who wish a refreshment or a small meal. Meetings last about two hours.)
