What to bring:
Camera Gear:
- Camera and lens of choice. Lens should be 300mm or longer.
- Extra batteries and memory cards.
- Support if needed. Tripod or monopod.
- Rain protection (for the camera and you!)
- Comfortable camera bag (if you're up for a hike)
Non-photography Gear:
- Good hiking boots (waterproof)
- Clothes you won't mind getting dirty
- Food and water
- Insect Repellent (Deet spray or Permethrin treated clothing)
*We cannot guarantee any particular bird. We will do what we can to capture images of a particular species, but at the end of the day, these are wild animals. If a bird isn’t cooperating, we’ll move on to the next.
