What are your hours?

Do I need an appointment to come in?
No appointment needed for most visits — just stop in during store hours. Our staff is here to help walk-in customers with camera questions, gear recommendations, and product demonstrations. Is Bergen County Camera an authorized retailer?
Yes. We are an authorized dealer for every brand we carry, including Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Leica, Panasonic, Sigma, and Tamron. That means your purchase comes with a full manufacturer's warranty and genuine factory-spec products. We never sell grey market goods.

What brands and products do you carry?
We carry a wide selection of digital cameras, mirrorless cameras, film cameras, lenses, video cameras, binoculars, studio lighting, tripods, bags, filters, memory cards, and darkroom supplies. Our primary camera brands include Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Leica, Panasonic, Sigma, and Tamron. We also stock printers, scanners, albums, frames, and photo books. If you're looking for something specific, call us and we'll let you know if we have it in stock.
Do you develop film?
Yes. Bergen County Camera offers film processing services for a variety of film types. Whether you're shooting 35mm, 120, or other formats, bring your film in and we'll take care of the rest. Do you offer camera repair?
Yes. We handle camera repair services and can arrange service on most major camera brands. Bring your camera in for an assessment and we'll advise on next steps, whether that's an in-house repair or sending it to an authorized service center. Do you clean camera sensors?

Do you offer camera and lens rentals?
Yes. Bergen County Camera offers camera and lens rentals — a great option if you want to try before you buy, need specific gear for a shoot, or don't want to travel with expensive equipment. Can I scan old photos or transfer old video tapes?
Yes. We offer a full range of memory preservation services including shoebox scanning (converting old prints and slides to digital), video transfer (VHS, Hi8, and other formats to digital), and audio tape transfer. Do you offer passport photos?
Yes. We take passport photos in-store, available during regular business hours. No appointment necessary unless getting photos for 3 or more people. Passport photos are printed to U.S. government specifications and ready quickly. Call ahead to confirm availability if you're on a tight deadline.
Do you offer photo printing?
Yes. Bergen County Camera offers a full range of printing services, from standard photo prints to premium archival prints, canvas prints, wall art, photo books, and custom photo gifts. Pricing & Policies
How are your prices compared to B&H or Amazon?
Most cameras and lenses are sold under manufacturer Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policies, which means the advertised price is typically the same at any authorized retailer — Bergen County Camera, B&H, or Amazon. Occasionally a large retailer will price below MAP on certain items. If you find a lower price at an authorized dealer, use the Price Match button on the product page or call us at 201-664-4113 and we'll do our best to match it.
What's different about buying from us is what comes with the purchase. Do you buy or take trade-ins on used equipment?

Do you offer financing?
Yes. We offer financing through Affirm and Synchrony, which lets you split purchases into monthly payments. Financing is available online at checkout. In-store, we accept cash, major credit cards, Affirm and Synchrony financing, and debit cards. We do not accept personal checks.

How long have you been in business?
Bergen County Camera has been in business since 1980 — over 45 years serving photographers in Westwood, Bergen County, and throughout northern New Jersey. We're a locally owned independent store, not a chain, and our staff are working photographers who are genuinely passionate about the craft.

Yes. Bergen County Camera hosts a year-round calendar of photography classes, workshops, photo walks, and travel excursions for all skill levels. We also run free Saturday Focus Sessions every Saturday at 9:30am — open to all, no registration required.
